“I am a nurse, graduated from the Yerevan State Base Medical College. But being nurse is not the only profession, I have worked in many fields where I strived to fulfill my responsibilities perfectly. I love sewing since childhood and working in “Sewing Hope for Armenia” is a dream come to true for me. After passing some trainings I fell in love with my new work” — Hasmik Harutyunyan, who is working as a tailor at “Sewing Hope for Armenia”, knits each sew not only with hope but also with kindness.

This young woman, who carries all the care of the family on her shoulders, not only tries not to get depressed, does not complain, but also manages to smile and give a smile to those around her. You can learn the art of being strong and unbreakable in life from a 44 year old Hasmik.

For as long as I can remember, I have never lived only for myself. I have a large family: my husband, my two children, my husband’s parents, and me live together. I am the only worker in the house, my husband does not have a job, and my husband’s parents have health problems, my mother-in-law has diabetes, and my father-in-law had a heart attack, that is why he also cannot work. This job is very important for me to be able to take care of my family.

I am ready to overcome any kind of difficulties only if there is peace in my homeland. I am from Yerevan, but after losing the children of my homeland, the war reached not only my home, but my heart.
